Cheers! Today marks the 22nd anniversary of WordPress, and our meetup was nothing short of extraordinary. The celebration was as refreshing and unexpected as the rains in this summer. The vibe was full of joy, energy, and community spirit.
Our amazing hosts for the day Mr.Prashant Patil, Mr. Ketan Niruke , and Mr. Abhay Kulkarni set the perfect tone for the celebration, welcoming attendees and keeping the momentum going throughout.
It was heartwarming to see many new faces joining us alongside long-time WordPress enthusiasts. The passion for open-source and the love for WordPress truly brought everyone together.
As always, Mr. Makarand Sir added his special touch to the event by sharing some cool WordPress swags. He’s definitely setting a trend by bringing goodies to every meetup, a fun tradition we all secretly hope continues.
We were also delighted by a surprise appearance from Mr. Pratap Patil Sir. He had expressed interest in joining earlier, but due to a packed schedule, it seemed unlikely. However, while traveling, he suddenly remembered that the venue was right along his route and just like that, he dropped in just in time for the cake-cutting ceremony! A wonderful moment that added even more charm to the celebration.
We had engaging discussions, shared ideas for future meetups, and of course, captured tons of photos and selfies to mark the occasion. The delicious pizza and fries from Adi’s Cafe kept everyone fueled and happy!
The highlight of the day was the special cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate WordPress turning 22! 🎂 It was a sweet moment that brought everyone together, reflecting on how far WordPress has come and the incredible community that supports it.
